Dhanbad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made a second arrest in the NEET-UG paper leak case in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad and detained two other individuals.
Amit Kumar Singh, also known as Bunty, was apprehended late Thursday night and taken to Patna for further investigation. According to sources, Bunty was arrested following a trail of funds allegedly collected from NEET-UG aspirants. The CBI had identified Bunty on Wednesday, but he gave them the slip.
Using electronic surveillance, the CBI tracked Bunty to the Jharia area, where he was ultimately apprehended the following night.
