In a late-night affidavit to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) refuted allegations of a NEET-UG paper leak in Patna and Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The NTA reported that suspected candidates in Patna scored moderately, ensuring no compromise to the exam’s integrity.
Addressing the Patna allegations, the NTA stated, “No question papers were found missing from any trunk; no locks were broken; NTA observers reported no adverse incidents; and no paper leakage was detected.”
In Sawai Madhopur, an incorrect question paper was initially distributed but promptly rectified. Some candidates, however, protested and left the center without taking the exam, leading to the circulation of a question paper image on social media, the NTA added.
