The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘orange’ alert for parts of Gujarat and Goa, forecasting very heavy rainfall on Friday. Maharashtra is also under an orange alert from July 13 to 15 due to anticipated heavy rains. In the northeast, extremely heavy rainfall is expected, with a red alert issued for Meghalaya on Friday.
Delhi Weather Forecast
In Delhi, the IMD predicts a cloudy sky with light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds ranging from 25 to 35 kmph on Friday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be approximately 28 degrees Celsius. The regional weather center in New Delhi forecasts very light rain until July 17.

Maharashtra: An orange alert is in place for five districts—Pune, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Satara—forecasting very heavy rain. A ‘yellow alert’ for heavy rain has been issued for other parts of the state on Friday.
Gujarat: The IMD has announced an orange alert for parts of Gujarat, predicting very heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected across the state.
Konkan and Goa: An orange alert has been issued for the Konkan and Goa region, with very heavy rainfall ranging from 115.6 to 204.4 mm expected on Friday. This heavy rainfall is predicted to continue until July 15.
Uttarakhand: The IMD predicts very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand on Friday and has issued an orange warning for the state.
