Lenovo has unveiled its plans to manufacture artificial intelligence servers in India, marking a significant step in the company’s local operations.
On Tuesday, Lenovo also inaugurated a new research and development lab in Bengaluru to enhance its innovation capabilities.
The company will commence production of AI-enabled GPU servers at its existing facility in Puducherry, which has been in operation since 2005. This facility boasts an annual production capacity of approximately 50,000 enterprise AI rack servers and 2,400 high-end GPU units, positioning Lenovo to meet growing demand in the AI sector.
