A school principal has been arrested in connection with the attempted rape and murder of a six-year-old minor girl in Dahod, Gujarat, police said on Tuesday.
The accused, Govind Natt (55) choked the girl to death while she was resisting sexual assault attempts. Later, the accused dumped a minor’s body on school grounds.
The post-mortem report also revealed that the small girl was choked to death.

According to investigators, the girl used to accompany the Principal to school every day, but on the day of the crime, the accused brought her to another area and did not return to school.
According to the police, the principal attempted to sexually assault the girl on their way to school, but when the girl protested and began shouting, the accused abandoned his plan to continue.
After being grilled, the principal admitted to lying and confessed to a crime.
Days after the girl went missing, the police questioned the Principal, who claimed to have dropped her off at the school. However, after investigating and locating his mobile location, the authorities discovered that his statements were conflicting with the actual fact.
“He brought up the girl from her house at 10.20 a.m. Her mother helped her get into the principal’s car and drove her away. But she never made it to school. Students and instructors at the school have corroborated this. “On the way to school, the principal attempted to sexually assault her, and she began shouting,” police reported.
“The principal choked the girl to keep her from shouting,” an official stated.
The principal confessed to his crime, and a complaint has been filed, according to police.
