A tragic helicopter crash in Pune’s Bavdhan area on Wednesday morning resulted in the deaths of three individuals: two pilots and an engineer. The incident occurred around 6:45 am in hilly terrain shortly after the helicopter took off from a nearby golf course helipad.

The victims were identified as pilots Paramjit Singh and G K Pillai, along with engineer Pritam Bharadwaj. According to preliminary reports, the helicopter, registered as VT EVV, belonged to Heritage Aviation and was based in Pune. It was chartered by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for a trip to Mumbai, with NCP chief Sunil Tatkare planning to visit Raigad.
