TIRUPATI: A 40-year-old TDP functionary was discovered dead on Wednesday at a government hospital in Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, just a day after he was reportedly abducted by loan recovery agents from a private company.
According to a police complaint filed by his family, K. Jagannadham had taken out a loan to purchase an earth mover but had defaulted on his EMIs, leading to harassment from the company’s representatives. He was allegedly abducted by loan recovery agents on Tuesday.
