NEW DELHI: Several schools in Delhi faced a second bomb threat within a week, leading to the suspension of classes on Friday.
According to an official from Delhi Fire Services, multiple schools reported receiving threats early in the morning. Among the affected institutions were Bhatnagar International School in Paschim Vihar, Cambridge School in Srinivas Puri, and DPS Amar Colony in East of Kailash.
The fire department confirmed receiving emergency calls at the following times: 4:21 a.m. for Bhatnagar International School, 6:23 a.m. for Cambridge School, and 6:35 a.m. for DPS Amar Colony.
Authorities stated that additional calls were still being received, and fire tenders have been dispatched to ensure the safety of students and staff at the affected locations. Investigations are underway to address the situation.
