BHOPAL: The body of an unidentified man, approximately 35 years old, was recovered on Tuesday morning near Sheetaldas Ki Bagiya at Upper Lake, Shyamla Hills police reported.

The deceased was wearing a sky-blue T-shirt and green lower, and police suspect he may have jumped into the lake near the Raja Bhoj statue, with currents carrying the body to the recovery site.

SHO Shyamla Hills, Ghumendra Singh, stated that divers at the lake spotted the body around 9:30 AM and immediately informed authorities. Police retrieved the body, registered a case, and sent it for post-mortem examination.

Details of the man’s appearance have been circulated to all police stations. Efforts are underway to match the description with records of missing persons to identify the deceased.
