NEW DELHI: A US military aircraft transporting 104 Indian nationals deported for allegedly residing illegally in the United States landed in Amritsar on Wednesday.

The flight, which departed from San Antonio, Texas, included 30 individuals from Punjab, 33 each from Haryana and Gujarat, three from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, and two from Chandigarh, according to sources cited by news agency PTI.

Footage captured the arrival of a US military C-17 aircraft at Shri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport around 1:30 PM, where the deportees were seen disembarking shortly after landing.
