CUDDALORE: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died in a tragic accident in a village in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore on Thursday after mistakenly consuming diesel, thinking it was water.
The child, identified as Mythili, was playing near her mother while she was cooking on February 5. Unaware of the danger, she grabbed a bottle containing diesel and drank it. Soon after, she fell critically ill and was rushed to a hospital, where she succumbed during treatment.
