In yet another major security development official sources on Thursday stated that CISF Personnel detained 3 laborers seeking entry into Parliamentary Complex with fake Aadhar cards.
Pinning them according to multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code for forgery and cheating, the Delhi police arrested the labourers identified as Monis, Kasim and Soyab.
One of the accused Soyeb hailed from Hapur in UP, of course, as per his identity card. The FIR registered by Delhi Police stated that Soyab’s identity is under scrutiny and verification, and the 3 accused, in their effort to get past the security personnel, with just an entry pass, had displayed these ID cards. However, they may have been employed by a contractor.
This happened on May 4, afternoon and FIR was registered under the various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 419 (Cheating by impersonation), 465 (Committing forgery), 468 (Using forged documents for the purpose of cheating), 471 (Fraudulently or dishonestly using as genuine any document or electronic record which he knows or has reason to believe to be forged), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy to commit an offence).
Suspicion arose when CISF personnel, while scrutinizing the Aadhar cards of Kasam and Monis, found them to be identical, and concluded it to be a case of forgery. Police have in turn confiscated the trio’s ID cards and detailed investigations are being carried out.
