In the Ayodhya gang rape case, the victim recorded her statement before special judge Nirupama Vikram under the POSCO Act on Wednesday. The victim’s lawyer, Kripal Chand Khare, presented arguments against the main accused, Moeed Khan, who was represented by advocate Saeed Khan.
Following high court directives, the special POSCO court in Faizabad will conduct daily hearings. Khare indicated that discussions regarding co-accused Raju would take place on Thursday.
During the previous hearing, charges were framed against SP leader Moeed Khan and his servant, Raju. The court granted a 25-day remand for the investigation. Both accused were escorted from Ayodhya Jail to the court under tight security measures.
