BHOPAL: A six-month-old girl was kidnapped for a ransom of ₹14 lakh in Guna on Saturday but was rescued by police within four hours of the abduction.
The incident took place at 6 PM in Aron town, where the accused approached the girl’s grandfather under the pretense of asking for directions, then forcibly took the child.
Using CCTV footage, police identified four suspects. As negotiations unfolded, the kidnappers agreed to return the girl through a mediator. However, upon seeing police presence, they fled the scene. The girl was safely reunited with her family around 10 PM.
