The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated the process of electing a new party chief as JP Nadda transitions to Union Health Minister. The party is set to review its performance in states where Lok Sabha results did not meet expectations, following concerns raised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed dissatisfaction with the bitterness of the electoral campaign and the ongoing violence in Manipur. The RSS attributed the BJP’s underperformance to poor coordination, candidate selection disagreements, and the induction of opposition leaders. Despite the criticism, BJP leadership emphasized their commitment to reviewing and addressing performance concerns.
