We were delighted to hold the naming ceremony for two LNG newbuildings at Okpo Shipyard, DSME on August 10th. The two Singapore-flagged vessels feature a state-of-the-art design that enables even greater focus on safe operations and flexibility, as well as the industry’s lowest fuel consumption and emissions profile. Both ships have a carrying capacity of 174,000 cbm, and are equipped with MEGI propulsion and full reliquefaction system.
Both vessels will go straight into long-term charters with our key clients; BW ENN Snow Lotus (h2509) will be delivered to ENN and BW Cassia (h2510) will be delivered to BP. A big thank you to our vessels’ godmothers Ms Zhang Jin, Vice Chairman of ENN Group and Mrs Carol Howle, EVP, Trading & Shipping of BP, for blessing BW ENN Snow Lotus and BW Cassia, respectively.
