CIMC Raffles has secured four LNG-powered 7,000 ceu PCTCs construction contract from Zodiac Maritime.
This series of PCTC is designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI).
The vessel will have a length of 199.90meres, a width of 38meres, a carrying capacity of 7,000 units of vehicle, equipping two sets of C-type LNG storage tanks, which can significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
“We are pleased to work with Zodiac on green shipping development and we will explore more cooperation opportunities from various sectors, said Wang Jianzhong,” CEO of CIMC Raffles.
The contract also includes multiple vessel options that can be exercised in the future.
