The father of the sole survivor in the tragic Dehradun car accident, which claimed the lives of six young people, has urged the media and public not to spread unverified rumors surrounding the incident. Vipin Agarwal, father of Siddhesh, who survived the crash, called for compassion and understanding, emphasizing the profound grief of the families who lost their children.

In an emotional appeal to India Today TV, Vipin Agarwal said, “The public should refrain from spreading half-truths and unverified rumors about the circumstances leading to this accident.” He implored the community to show empathy for the grieving families, adding, “We have lost six children. Their families are in deep distress, a pain that we cannot describe. One child is still in the ICU on a ventilator.”

The father also asked for patience, stating, “The investigation is ongoing, and the truth will come out. Please don’t believe these rumors.” His appeal comes amidst swirling claims about the events leading up to the accident, including allegations of alcohol consumption and a street race with a BMW.

Rumors and Conspiracy Theories: Various rumors have circulated on social media, with some suggesting the group had been drinking before the crash and were engaged in a street race with a BMW. One viral video purportedly shows a group of people partying, but the police have not confirmed if the individuals in the video are connected to the victims. Additionally, no medical reports or autopsies have confirmed alcohol consumption at the time of the crash.

Another theory claimed that the Innova was racing against the BMW, and the BMW driver’s actions “hurt the ego” of the Innova driver, leading him to speed. However, police investigations, including CCTV footage, have debunked this claim, showing that the Innova reached dangerous speeds only moments before the crash, not throughout the journey.

A further rumor suggested that some of the victims were leaning out of the window or sunroof while the car was speeding, leading to decapitations. However, authorities have not confirmed this claim. Medical reports suggest that the severe head injuries were a result of the high-impact collision, not from leaning out of the vehicle.

Call for Respect and Truth: Vipin Agarwal’s appeal comes as a reminder to the public to allow the investigation to unfold without the distraction of falsehoods. “The truth will emerge through the investigation, and we urge everyone to respect the process and refrain from jumping to conclusions,” he said, stressing that compassion should be shown for the families affected by the tragedy.

As the investigation continues, the authorities have yet to confirm the details of the crash, but they have promised to uncover the facts behind the tragic loss of six young lives.
