Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) has won an order for up to three oil tankers orderbook from Greek shipowner Enesel.
CSSC Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, CSSC China Shipbuilding Trading and Enesel jointly signed contracts for two plus one 114,000 dwt product tankers.
The tankers, independently developed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, are in 249.95 metres length and 44 metres width.
It is the first time for Enesel to build tankers in Chinese shipyard, which is a good start for the two parties to deepen cooperation and strengthen Waigaoqiao’s brand in global tanker market, said the shipyard.
