General cargo ship PETRA L collided with wind turbine at Godewind wind farm, NW of Norderney, Germany, North Sea, at around 1800 UTC Apr 24, while en route from Poland to Merksem Belgium, with 1,500 tons of grain on board. Captain didn’t report accident to authorities, but the ship interrupted her voyage and called Emden, where she was berthed in the morning Apr 25, with fore hull 1-meter breach. Remained berthed as of Apr 26. Wind turbine blade or blades suffered damages, too.
