NEW DELHI: Several areas in Delhi experienced severe waterlogging and traffic congestion following heavy rainfall on Thursday morning.

The waterlogged roads led to significant traffic delays, with commuters wading through flooded streets and vehicles struggling to navigate the submerged areas.

Due to waterlogging, traffic on MB Road was disrupted in both directions, from Khanpur to Shooting Range T-Point and vice versa.

Similarly, traffic on Rohtak Road was affected in both directions, from Nangloi to Tikri Border, due to potholes and water accumulation. Commuters are advised to avoid Mundka and take alternate routes.

Additionally, waterlogging near APS Colony under the GGR flyover, coupled with the breakdown of two buses, caused traffic delays from NSG Light towards Vasant Vihar and Dhaula Kuan. Commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly.

Traffic on MB Road in the carriageway from Badarpur towards Mehrauli was also affected due to waterlogging near Saket Metro Station. Travellers are advised to consider alternative routes and plan their trips accordingly.
