Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT), operated by International Container Terminal Services, Inc’s (ICTSI) Port of Karachi, marked a milestone with the handling of its 10-millionth teu since commencing operations in 2002
“This hallmark achievement is a result of synchronised efforts and dedication of our entire team, along with the fortifying partnership and cohesion we enjoy with our esteemed customers, who are among the key elements of our successful operations,” said Khurram Aziz Khan, PICT Chief Executive Officer.
“The 10 millionth teu milestone is PICT’s expression of commitment to supporting the economic resilience of the country. Operating Berths 6 to 9 at the East Wharf of the Karachi Port, Pakistan International Container Terminal is the preferred terminal for the Indian subcontinent trade routes. The common-use terminal offers excellent connections to Central Asia, Afghanistan, and the Western China hinterlands.
