Heavy rains Meteorological Department (IMD) has extended a ‘red’ alert for the city through Tuesday, July 9. In response, schools and colleges in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Panvel, and the rural regions of Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg will remain closed. This decision affects primary and secondary schools as well as junior and senior colleges.
