In the midst of escalating tensions in West Asia, Iranian Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Takht Ravanchi is scheduled to visit India on January 2, sources have confirmed. During the visit, Ravanchi is expected to engage in talks aimed at easing regional tensions, particularly surrounding Iran’s controversial nuclear program, ahead of Donald Trump’s potential return to the White House. The discussions will also focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, with a special emphasis on the Chabahar port project in Iran.

As the Gaza conflict continues to threaten wider regional instability, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been actively in contact with both Iranian and Israeli leaders, stressing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving the crisis.
