MUMBAI: A major fire erupted in a 15-story building in the Kamala Mills area of Mumbai on Friday morning.
The fire, which started around 6:29 am, quickly spread to the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the building.
At least eight teams from the fire brigade have been deployed to the site in Lower Parel (West) to contain the blaze.
Firefighters are using eight fire engines and a turntable ladder to battle the fire.
In addition, they are working to gain access to locked offices on the 2nd to 14th floors, utilizing chisels and hammers as part of their efforts.
