VISAKHAPATNAM: A 27-year-old woman, Anusha, who was nine months pregnant, was allegedly strangled to death by her husband on Monday morning in the Madhurawada area under PM Palem police station limits in Vizag city.
According to police, Anusha had married Gnaneshwar (28) from Duvvada two years ago, going against her family’s wishes.
Relatives and friends said Anusha was just days away from giving birth when she was brutally killed. During interrogation, Gnaneshwar reportedly confessed to the crime.
