The company established a partnership with the university to evaluate its processes and participate in the No Limits Program (Programa Sin Límites), which links students with companies to solve real challenges.
SAAM Towage closed a strategic alliance with the UC Anacleto Angelini Innovation Center. This agreement seeks to strengthen the company’s innovative capacity, enhancing processes and services, while projecting its growth in a sustainable manner.
“This alliance with the UC Innovation Center is an opportunity to incorporate new perspectives and continue to promote innovation in our company as a powerful tool to better address our customers’ needs and the challenges imposed on us by a world in constant evolution,” said SAAM Towage’s Sustainability and Development Manager, Pablo Cáceres.
This collaboration, which is part of the company’s Sustainability Strategy, involves an evaluation of SAAM Towage’s internal capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement and design strategies that foster a culture of continuous innovation within the organization.
It will also actively participate in the No Limits Program, with the challenge: “LABtug: Platform for Integrating Essential Systems,” where a select group of students will work for 15 weeks to develop a customized technological solution.
The Director of Business Development for the UC Innovation Center, Claudia Bonilla, highlighted the importance of this alliance: “The work we will do with SAAM Towage will demonstrate how, when academia and the private sector drive innovation, the impact goes far beyond either organization, as it improves the quality of life of everyone inside and outside each of them.”
SAAM Towage will also be integrated into the UC Innovation Center’s innovation ecosystem, accessing monthly activities that promote national and international collaboration between academia, startups and the private sector.
