This partnership is set to play a crucial role in safeguarding and advancing a shared vision of a free, open, and rules-based global order.

Sullivan and Doval reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the US-India partnership, with the iCET Intersessional and Indian Ocean Dialogue seen as pivotal platforms for collaboration. Both officials acknowledged the advancements made in recent years and highlighted the importance of these initiatives in fostering innovation and cooperation.

Their conversation also explored opportunities for enhanced collaboration in key areas, including:

  • Clean Energy Supply Chains: Joint development and cooperation in clean energy initiatives.
  • Defense Cooperation: Co-production and co-development of major defense systems to strengthen partnerships.
