WISCONSIN: A 17-year-old boy from Wisconsin, Nikita Casap, is facing serious state and federal charges after allegedly murdering his parents in a calculated effort to finance and carry out a plot to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump and incite a revolution, according to newly unsealed court documents.
Casap was arrested in March and is accused of fatally shooting his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51, at their home in Waukesha. Authorities believe the murders occurred on February 11, though the decomposed bodies were not discovered until February 28, during a welfare check. Tatiana’s body was found under a pile of blankets near the kitchen, while Mayer was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head in a home office, CNN and the New York Post reported.
According to an FBI affidavit cited by USA Today, Casap allegedly carried out the killings to gain access to money and personal freedom, enabling him to move forward with a larger plan — the assassination of President Trump and the overthrow of the U.S. government. A three-page manifesto discovered on his phone reportedly called for political upheaval through targeted violence. “By getting rid of the president and perhaps the vice president, that is guaranteed to bring in some chaos,” the document stated.
Investigators also found disturbing content on Casap’s phone, including images of Adolf Hitler, neo-Nazi propaganda, and antisemitic rhetoric. Phrases such as “Hail Hitler, Hail the white race, Hail victory” were discovered, along with messages accusing Jewish people of orchestrating “white genocide,” CNN reported. Authorities say Casap was in contact with a person in Russia and had discussed his plans with others aware of his intentions.
Federal documents also reveal that Casap had tried to acquire a drone and explosives, allegedly intended to be used as a weapon of mass destruction. His phone contained materials linked to the neo-Nazi extremist group “The Order of Nine Angles.”
Casap was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Kansas, just hours after the bodies were found. He was driving Mayer’s stolen SUV and was in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and approximately $14,000 in cash.
The teenager is now facing nine state felony charges, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding corpses. In addition, he has been charged federally with conspiracy, attempted assassination of the president, and use of weapons of mass destruction. He has not entered a plea and is currently being held on a $1 million bond. His arraignment is scheduled for May 7.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office has emphasized the seriousness of the case, urging anyone with additional information to come forward, and noting that the charges reflect the results of a “meticulous investigation” aimed at safeguarding public safety.
