Visakha Container Terminal set a record on November 17, 2022, where its highest productivity to date was achieved on the ship named M.V. SM Neyyar for its Chennai-Colombo-Gulf feeder service. The vessel was berthed at 11:45 AM on November 16, 2022 and achieved its best ship productivity of 129 Moves Per Hour (MPH) complemented by berth productivity of 120 MPH. The terminal’s last record was on May 4, 2022 when it achieved a ship productivity of 122 MPH while berth productivity crossed 115 MPH on the M.V. Celsius Nairobi.
